Read These Guidelines Before You Buy Computer Hardware for yourself
Apr 20th
Hardware is the most important aspect of a computer. However, a majority of people focus on buying quality software for their computer and finally end with replacing them over and over again due to frequent attacks by viruses and spywares. The fact is that your computer won’t function properly until you purchase good quality computer hardware for yourself. Once you purchase quality computer hardware you’ll be free from any hardware problems.
In order to buy computer hardware, you must have sufficient knowledge about the various hardware components. You must know that the motherboard is the most important aspect of your computer hardware. It consists of many resistors, diodes and capacitors that constitute the electrical and logical connection of the computer system. The motherboard is placed in the CPU of a computer. The CPU performs various logical and mathematical operations that lead to proper functioning of software.
It also consist of a visual display controller that provide you with good resolution, therefore you can watch images, videos and flash images with more clarity. Moreover, the RAM should have sufficient memory to support smooth functioning of various software. Therefore, you must make sure that you buy quality hardware components that accurately support your system software.
Therefore, one must be really cautious while purchasing computer hardware for themselves. Generally, people prefer buying branded computer hardware in order to avoid any fake components. However, branded computer dealers don’t guarantee you with a fair deal for components. Therefore, one should buy computer hardware through online computer hardware dealers.
They provide you with quality hardware components at affordable prices. You can also purchase hardware from various dealers and assemble them to create the most effective computer hardware for your computer system. Therefore, one must buy computer hardware through an online computer hardware portal in order to achieve proper functioning of software on the computer system.
Voip Hardware – What’s The Best Choice?
Apr 11th
When you use your computer, you are communicating on an IP network that is sending and receiving all Internet traffic. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) uses this same network to send its packets of voice data when you make a call from your computer to either another computer or a landline. The excitement over VoIP services is that you can use the Internet that you are already paying for to make free phone calls! Obviously, you need more than your computer to make these calls – VoIP hardware.
In order to use VoIP phone services you need to subscribe to a plan from a provider of VoIP hardware. What you pay depends on your choice of hardware:
* Computer-to-computer
* Computer-to-phone
* SIP-to-SIP (Session Internet Protocol)
This may sound confusing but once you understand the service you will find the choice relatively easy to make and your only decision will be the provider you offers you the best benefits for the least amount of money.
Computer-to-computer VoIP service is free. This is the most common form of VoIP and the one most of the public is most familiar. A provider of this service, Skype, both the caller and receiver need to be using their services. With a set of speakers, sound card, and a microphone (or USB phone) you can call anyone worldwide who is also using Skype; for free.
Computer-to-phone is the next step up and this is where the providers begin charging for services. This service is great for those of you who make several International calls. The primary difference with this service is that you can call the other party who has a regular landline and that party does not need to be using the same VoIP package as you.

Computer is a collection of several components working together. Some of these components are essential, others add more performance. Adding extra parts expands the variety of task we can accomplish with computer.
Computer is made up of the following parts CPU and Peripherals. Software is the program that runs on hardware. It is classified into Application software and System Software. System Software has set of programs which control and co-ordinate the entire computer system. Application software is used to perform particular task.
The CPU Controls and executes all our computer operations. It ensures that the correct character is displayed on the monitor when you press a key on the keyboard. Cables from the CPU are connected to Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse, Printer etc. The brain behind all processes of the computer is contained within the system unit. Inside the system unit there are so many components available.
All the electronic components in a PC are mounted on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), called the motherboard. Thin lines of metal on the surface of the fiberglass connect pins from one component to another, forming the computer`s electronic circuits. The Microprocessor, or Central Processing Unit (CPU), is the computer`s most important component.
It performs all the operations inside the computer. Random Access Memory (RAM) is used for the purpose of holding the information or data inside the program when the computer is running. When the computer is switched off, data present inside the RAM is also lost. RAM chips or modules can be added to empty ram chip slots. Floppy disk drive consists of a slot to accept a floppy disk, Recording/reading device helps us to read the data present on the floppy. This Floppy disk drive is provided by a motor which reads the data present in the floppy.
Do You Have The Right Hardware For Your Pc?

Computers these days rely on sophisticated yet compact hardware. Computer hardware has improved over the years, and their prices are now affordable even for lay people. Without reliable PC hardware like motherboards, graphic cards, LAN cards, printers, mouse, and keyboards, the computer would not simply exist, as we know it today. Thus, it is essential that hardware is robust and reliable at the same time. Easy availability of hardware makes it straightforward for dealers to deal in hardware for the benefit of customers.
For those who do not understand computer hardware, these devices make your computer work. Briefly, computer hardware is essential for input, processing, or output functions, so your hardware engineer will install the right kind of hardware necessary for the related tasks you need to perform on the computer.
Also, computer hardware is essential to connect the gadgets like mouse, monitor, keyboards, speakers, drives, and printers, so that they can be used to execute the tasks of inputting data, processing data, and executing the output data. Without PC hardware, your computer is as good as a dud. It cannot do anything without these. With computers getting more sophisticated, the type of computer hardware that goes along with a modern day computer has become sophisticated too.
The numerous uses that the computer has been put into today have necessitated more processing power. Therefore, the main processors have become more number crunching too. The same can be said about other components like motherboards, hard drives, CD DVD drives, graphics cards, and others, which have evolved over time to suit present day computing needs.
With the increase in the utility of computers, PC hardware has become more intricate. For even average computer users, it is essential that they be aware of computer hardware and devices. Without a basic knowledge of these devices, it may be difficult to understand how a computer operates and to keep it up with the rapidly changing times.
Cleaning Your Computer Hardware

Cleaning you computer hardware
Computers, as appose to other electric or electronic devices, are not maintenance free. Quite the reverse, it occasionally needs hardware cleaning. This will not only give your computer top performance, but will also prevent many unforeseen computer breakdowns,
The obvious reason is, after we use the computer for 6 – 12 months depending on the environment, it will have a layer of dust sitting on it. This happens even when we position our computer in a clean room. The computer parts in my own house always collect a fair amount of dust.
It would, therefore, be advisable to give your computer a clean up twice a year or so. But before we do it, we must do some preparation. First, get a piece of paper, a pen, screw driver, brush and a small can of spray that clean the metal parts of the electronic circuit.
When we are ready, unplug the computer completely and take only the case out to a well ventilated area. Open the case and take note of what you will be doing below (This is important to help you put it back correctly).
1. Unplug all the devices from the mains supply. These include hard disk, floppy disk, DVD Rom, CPU fan, and the main power supply plug from the main board.
2. Take the main board battery off.
3. Unscrew all the attached cards like Monitor, LAN, Modem, USB, Sound, CCTV, if there is any (the newer main mother board now has most of these collectively assembled on the main board) and pull them out carefully.
4. Use the brush to dust off all the computer parts.
5. Erase the bronze color stripe part of the cards. Rub them hard until they shine.
6. Spray clean the main board, IC or chip spikes, and the needle like metal parts of the hard disk, floppy disk and DVD ROM.
7. Spray also all the metal parts that protrude out from the main board at the back of the computer case. (Do not wipe with paper or cloth if you over spray as it may cause damage to it. Just let it dry ).
8. Put back all the cards and screw tight.
9. Plug back all power supply lines.
10. Insert back main board battery.
11. Close the case and take to join back to the monitor, keyboard and mouse.
